'Your World Cup' Themed Junior Hockey Festival

World-class hockey is coming to London this Summer!
16 best teams in the world are competing at the Vitality Hockey Women's World Cup between 21 July - 5 August. England’s Women take on the rest of the world, including Commonwealth Games finalists Australia and New Zealand, world number one side the Netherlands and the lionesses, Argentina.
To celebrate EXE HC are holding a Primary School Age World Cup Festival, details below:
From 10 am - 12noon:
Area 1 - Boys and Girls aged 4, 5 or 6 (if new to hockey). Playing with the larger Quickstick balls. Mini games on small pitches about 4 a side.
Area 2 – Age 7/8 Girls 6 a side games
Area 3 – Age 7/8 Boys 6 a side games
From 12noon -2 pm:
Half pitch Age 9/10/11 Boys 7 a side tournament GK optional
Half pitch Age 9/10/11 Girls 7 a side tournament GK optional
PARENTS: The ages are just a guide - please put your children where their hockey is best suited. All teams will be given a name of a country that is competing in the World Cup.
Please bring your child with kit (including gum shield & shin pads) we have sticks to borrow.
This Festival is just to get everyone playing and having fun.
£3 per child please to cover the cost of the pitch and prizes.
Please arrive by 10am for the first session and then by 12noon for the second session when we will put them into teams.
REFRESHMENTS WILL BE ON SALE - VOLUNTEERS WELCOME!
