Look What's Coming....

It's been great to see so many 'old' and new faces at training so far, all enjoying the varied sessions led by Simon, Popey Jo and John.... lots of small game play and hockey related fitness. If we haven't seen you yet, a reminder that Tuesday 29th August (7.00 - 8.30pm) is the last 'whole' club session before the split sessions start in September.
We have plenty coming up for the whole club to enjoy in early September.
Saturday 2nd September is our participation in England Hockey's HockeyFest
- a national campaign to demonstrate how friendly, welcoming & social clubs are.
It's a Day with time slots for everyone:
09.30 – 10.30am: Junior Club (Under 13s) Skills & Games. Helpers required from 9.00am to help set up the pitch and support the coaches.
10.30 – 11.45am: Senior Club (Over 13s) – small sided games. Please arrive from 10.00am so that teams can be organised and ready to start at 10.30.
12noon - 4pm: 1sts v Teign v Clifton 2nds (Triangular tournament)
Come along for as much of the day as you want to. Pay your subs. Purchase kit. Be social.
Saturday 9th September - our annual invitational Tournament for the Olive Drake Memorial Trophy.
Teams from Exe, Isca, Plymouth Marjon, Taunton Vale & Teign.
11.00am - 5.00pm
HELPERS REQUIRED:
- Baking cakes - ‘THE GREAT EXE BAKE OFF’ returns
- Refreshment sales (rota for the afternoon)
- Keeping the site tidy
- Time-keeping
- Welcoming our guests
- Looking after the umpires
- Generally being social and chatting to your club mates

EXMOUTH BEACH (Orcombe Point)
OPEN TO THE WHOLE CLUB + FAMILY, FRIENDS & DOGS
BRING YOUR OWN PICNIC AND JOIN IN THE FUN AND GAMES ON THE BEACH
