| Match Report | Match Report Exe 3s had a great and spooky game this Halloween. We got off to a strong start, winning several short corners, however we lacked conversion. Billsy backed herself and stepped up for a flick which she scored with deathly skills. This was quickly followed by a slightly messy short corner in which Amy forced the ball through the spiderweb of players to push over the line. The first half finished 2-0. We came out fiercely after a smashing half time talk from captain Scary Sian, with spirits high. Sophie ghosted down the line and crossed it to Amy who brought us to 3 - 0. Scarily perfect hockey. Katie the red devil crossed the ball to magic Megan the Wizard who slipped the ball in from right post. A lovely hit from Fiendish Faith sealed the 5th goal from another short corner. Hattie the poaching pumpkin went apple bobbing for a goal and ensured Megan's strike hit the backboard. The final score was 6-0. The defence put on a fangtastic performance, maintaining our creepy crawly clean sheet for another week, with stellar performances from Sian, Emma, Ellie, Sophie and Hannah. Freya stepped up with her freakishly fast feet to save a breakthrough goal from the opposition. A spookily spectacular match all round. Bring on next week!! |
