Exe 3s made a great start to the season in the opening derby match against Exe 4s. With a new team, new pitch and new dynamic, the 3s took a while to score but dominated the possession, camping out in the 4s defensive quarter. The strength and determination of the 4s defence meant it was a close 1-0 at half time. Once the 3s got into their stride, there were some excellent passages of linking play - across the back, down the lines and triangles in the middle... and then the goals came: two from the stealthy Freya, three from dynamite Cassie, and a neat flick to finish from Billsy. It’ll be an exciting season! Man of the match was Cassie Tucker
