Ladies 5th XI Vs Dart 3rds (rearranged fixture)

A chilly morning at St James school saw Exe 5ths play Dart 3rds in what turned out to be an exciting match.

The first half was mostly dominated by Exe, although not without challenge from Dart. A fantastic finish from Bri off a shot from Jojo put the first score on the board from Exe and the pressure on Dart. Another brilliant goal from Bri into the top corner of the goal was soon followed by a great goal from Hannah Bolwell. Dart responded however with their first goal after making the most of a scramble in front of the Exe keeper leaving the score at half time 3-1 to Exe.

The second half saw some equally strong play from both sides but with Dart scoring another goal their confidence was lifted. Exe managed to hold onto the lead until the last 4 minutes when Dart put away the equaliser making the final score 3-3. Both teams fought hard and thoroughly deserved the draw, well done girls
