Ladies 5th XI Vs Dart 3rds

Feeling confident, Exe started well, with a well earned goal from a quick counter-attack free hit.  

Leading 1-0 at half time, Exe were reminded not to be complacent, but Dart came out and attacked with renewed determination.  A cross from the left wing into the circle was slipped past the keeper by the keen centre forward with one touch.

Soon after, a clearance by the keeper inadvertently struck the Exe defender's foot, which rebounded towards a Dart wing who slipped it wide into the net.

Throughout the game, Exe had numerous opportunties to lead the game, but it wasn't our day, with Dart's keeper making several frantic saves across the goal mouth and on the line safeguarding their lead.
