| Match Report | The first five minutes proved an unlucky start for Exe. Despite going out guns blazing, exe got caught by Tavistock on the break and conceded an early flick. This was followed closely by another quick goal from Tavistock. 2-0 down already, Exe tried to press forward and had several short corners but no goals were made. The first half ended 3-0. The second half played out similarly to te first. Another 3 goals went in for Tavistock, despite some good goal keeping from Man of the Match, Tara Pidwell. Just before the final whistle blew, Exe got a short corner. The team stepped up to the D ... the ball is release and ... Emma Renshaw slaps it into the back of the goal. A consolation goal for Exe, leaving the score line 6-1. |
