| Match Report | Exe 2s were at home to B & SN, who are bottom of the table and are fighting to stay in the league. Their determination for this was shown early on, with strong tackles and quick passes which left Exe on the back foot on many occasions. Exe worked hard with a number of attacks through the mid. A great run from Hope Evans, who was brought down in the D, gave Exe a chance to go one up before half time with a penalty stroke. However, it wasn’t to be, as Mel Vaggers ‘spanner hands’ flick was saved by the keeper. The second half saw much of the same, with both teams working hard and turning the ball over quickly, but too many unforced errors meant neither team could score.
