Ladies 5th XI Vs Dawlish

Dawlish were the visitors to St Peter's for a lunch time start against Exe 5s.

Both teams seemed evenly matched and the game was fast paced with some good passing from both sides.  Both goals were challenged, including a skied shot from Harmony Evans which flew just over the bar. 

A couple of great saves from Jane Bailey in the Exe goal kept the score to just one to Dawlish when the whistle blew for half time. 

Half time: 0-1

Dawlish opened the second half stronger and set up camp in the Exe half. 

With both teams tiring the game became a little scrappy and Dawlish's third goal game off the back of some ugly ping pong in the D. The fourth was, however a nice strike from outside the top flicked in past the goalie by the goal hanging forward. 

Full time: 0-4

Exe might feel a little unlucky with the scoreline today. A good team effort.
