| Match Report | Exe 4ths travelled to Dawlish for what was to be an interesting game. The game started hard against Dawlish but Exe remained strong with our defence _____ keeping control. Within the first half Exe took two attacking short corners with plays from Mia, Amanda, Katie and Delilah but unfortunately Dawlish defended well and saved both shots. Dawlish fought back well and Exe made a crucial defending error allowing Dawlish's first goal. Second half was hard for Exe but we kept fighting. There were more short corners from both teams but Exe conceeded 4 more goals due to some lucky breaks from the Dawlish side. No matter the score line Exe kept fighting and the final result 5-0 did not reflect the game played. |
