Today was a great game! We won 3-2 against Honiton Hornets.
The first goal was scored in the first 5 minutes by Mia, then Honiton levelled the score with an excellent shot. After this, we scored another cracking goal from Carlie and by half time the score was 2-1. 4 minutes into the second half, we took a straight strike and unfortunately Honiton defence player was injured.
When the game restarted, we got straight back into drilling attacks. Sarah Jackmans ( 3rd goal was text book) her straight stoke was deflected by the goalie. Sarah didn't give up and composed herself to flick the ball beautifully over the goalie that still lay on the floor making it 3-1 then Honiton got another goal to make the final score 3-2. An excellent effort from everyone.
