| Match Report | A warm but grey day saw a relatively inexperienced Exe 5s visiting Okehampton 2s. Right from the push back Okehampton were clearly the stronger side by far. The first goal came in the first couple of minutes when Okehampton crossed from the left and found a free player on the penalty spot. The second followed quickly with a straight strike from the top of the D. Exe got the defence in order and kept the ball out for the next 15minutes and repeated penalty corners, but rarely did it cross the half way line. Two more goals followed before half time. Half time: 4-0 Exe started the second half with more fight - chasing every ball down and stringing together more passes. Okehampton continued to make the most of the play but possession was more equal and Exe spent more time in the attacking half. Unfortunately the rate of goal scoring continued and another three goals had been scored by the home side by the final whistle. Full time: 8-0 A tough game, but heads stayed high battled to the end.
