Exe 3s lost 3-1 in a drama filled fixture against Tavistock. While Exe came out strongly in the first half, a clumsy tackle by the Exe GK gave Tavistock a chance to score the opener with a penalty flick but fortunately this did not occur. Tavistock grew into the game and piled on the pressure, but a solid display from the Exe defence managed to keep them at bay until a well worked goal for them. Exe fought back, with Sian Williams smashing a short corner in, to make it 1-1 just before half time. Despite Tavistock having a player sent off in the 2nd half, Exe couldn't find the backboard again, although some fantastic link up play was displayed by the 3s. Relentless attacking from Tavistock resulted in them scoring twice more from well worked short corners, leaving Exe still waiting for their first win of the season. Player of the match was Tori Smith.
