Exe went to Cheltenham for a top of the table clash, getting off to the perfect start when Fi Moran disected their defence with an angled pass for Becky Fagg to take it round the keeper and slot it home. Cheltenham pressed Exe for the rest of the first half but some brilliant defence and saves from Kate Garman kept Exe in it. Exe came out fighting in the second half and within the first five Clare Whitworth added a second goal. Moran added a third with a strong shot from a short corner and Fagg then scored another. Cheltenham didn't roll over but excellent defensive play ensured the final score remained 4-0.
