On the 26th September, the fifth team from Exe hockey played Okehampton at home, as there 2nd league game this season. Exe played a strong defence throughout the match. They had very stong players supporting the goalie but they found it very difficult to get the ball from defence to mid field as Okehampton’s forwards were in good positions most of the time. In comparison, Okehampton’s team were much stronger in attack from the beginning. Once the ball got past the line of attackers and midfield, it was easier for the forward players to have a shot on goal. In the first half the result was 2-0; unfortunately the last goal was due to an injury which resulted in Jill to become the goalie for the final half. At full time the score was 4-0 to Okehampton, Exe played well as a team (you can add an improvement if you want!). Well played to both teams in the match.
