Exe 1sts were playing at home this weekend against Yate Hockey Club. Exe were looking to continue their winning ways. Midway through the first half Emma White weaved her way through the Yate defence and slipped it past Yate’s keeper to make the game 1-0. Second half saw Exe press Yate searching to extend their lead from strong play in the midfield from Bridie Marlow and Helen Tully. Yate stood strong through some great saves from Yate’s keeper, keeping the game at 1-0 until the final whistle. Exe continued their unbeaten winning ways and Bridie Marlow won Man of the Match.
