After securing their league position last week, Exe II were hoping to end the season on a high, but a goal 11minutes into the game was enough to give Caradon the points and secure their own survival. Both teams created opportunities throughout the game. Debutant Ruby Jarman as well as Heather Edworthy and Fi Moran went close for Exe, whilst ‘keeper Jolene Spencer made several excellent saves. Player of the match Karen Tinley was a stalwart in defence and saw her short corner go inches wide with only seconds to go.
